J. B. Hoyos –
I love drinking tea, which is actually heathier than coffee. People tell me I look very young for my age. I attribute this to drinking tea, which is loaded with antioxidants that prevent aging and cancer. In other words, tea, especially herbal tea, promotes healthy cell replication. I was excited to review Tipson’s wonderful collection of Tulsi Herbal Infusions. This collection consists of six different tea flavors. For the first time, I actually tried two new teas and found them surprisingly delicious: Hibiscus and Cinnamon Spice. During the winter, I love sipping on hot tea. It keeps me awake and alert and warm. During the hot summer months, I prefer my tea iced. Therefore, for the purpose of this review, I sampled all six teas. I iced all of them and added a natural sweetener: AlluMonk, a blend of Allulose and Monk Fruit. For some of the teas, such as Chamomile and Lemon, I would normally add real honey. However, I didn’t add honey when preparing any of these teas. A natural sweetener, such as stevia or monk fruit, will enhance or intensify the tea’s natural flavoring. I ranked the six teas from most delicious to least delicious:1. Mango and Peach2. Cinnamon and Spice3. Hibiscus4. Peppermint5. Ginger and Lemon6. Chamomile and Lemon All of these teas can be ordered separately in their own boxes. Mango and Peach was my favorite. It has always been one of my favorite teas. These teas all taste delicious. I can detect a slight taste of the Tulsi herb, which is very healthy in small quantities. It is soothing and relaxing and is good for your heart and liver. However, if taken in large quantities, it can be harmful. Therefore, it is wiser to partake of it in small quantities–the type of small quantities found in tea. I like this collection of Tulsi infused teas from Tipson more so than their collection of Ashwagandha infused teas. The teas from the Ashwagandha collection had more of a “weedy” taste. Let me warn you that both collections of tea made me very sleepy. I would never drink them in the morning. Late afternoon or anytime in the evening would be better. The box of Tulsi infused tea is shrink-wrapped and easy to open. Inside is a clever display tray for neatly organizing the six varieties of tea. This box of Tulsi infused tea would make a wonderful gift for anyone who enjoys drinking non-caffeine herbal tea, especially those who lead stressful lives or have trouble falling asleep at night. Each pouch is thick and protective and easy to open. There is a grooved notch at the bottom. I can use each tea bag at least three times, which saves me money and time. The expiration date printed on the back of the box, in the lower right-hand corner, is 12.2021. This is a very good date. This box of tea will be empty before then.

This is my first time using any hibiscus tea. I was surprised by the robust taste but have since gotten accustomed to the taste.

I’m happy with nearly all of the flavors in this assortment. For me, the star was the peppermint — very fresh, natural taste that works well both hot and cold. The Ginger Lemon was good, but the ginger was not nearly as pronounced as I would like. It worked best cold. The rest were also tasty with the only exception being the Hibiscus. I didn’t care for that at all, even though the aroma was nice.I like assortments since I get tired of the same flavor, and having options to choose from depending on the time of day, meal, etc. is great. I can’t say I experienced any health benefits from the Tulsi, but the teas are quite enjoyable for taste which is enough to warrant 5 stars (4.5 stars if the Hibiscus is factored in).

I wanted to introduce tulsi tea into my life, but didn’t know which flavor to try. Having an assortment pack is a great idea, but I have since discovered that all the included infusions (peppermint, cinnamon spice, chamomile & lemon, ginger & lemon, hibiscus and mango & peach) taste great. It’s nice to have options, depending on mood or time of day. One thing is for sure—all are flavorful, and for me, a relaxing way to unwind. I was especially impressed with Tipson’s packaging—the wide assortment is neatly displayed in a gift-worthy box.

This is a very good tea. It’s smooth and you really don’t need to add much, if anything at all. A BIG thumbs up 👍🏾

I have been having a really hard time lately with severe nerve pain. Some days are worse than others, but today and yesterday have been pretty hard to cope with. Today, I tried everything I could think of and nothing was helping more than a few moments. I decided to sit and have a cup of tea with my husband who is on break from jobs today.WHAT IS THIS TEA LIKE?This tea comes in a woven paper bag. The tea is VERY finely cut. It does not smell too wonderful in the bag, and each bag is carefully wrapped in a foil wrapper to keep it fresh.HOW DID WE MAKE IT?I used this tea in a Ninja Coffee/Tea machine. I opened 3 bags and made a half a carafe of tea which is about 3 large mugs full of tea.HOW WAS THE TEA?OMG The fragrance of this tea is AMAZING. It really comes to life when brewed. I brewed this at the herbal temperature which would be full boil temperature of around 210 to 212. The taste was spectacular. The fruity flavor was very pronounced but natural tasting. The Holy Basil/Tulsi herb has a peppery taste to it which compliments the peach/mango flavor perfectly.HOW DID I SWEETEN IT?We used honey to sweeten the tea which brought out the fruit flavor perfectly.WHY AM I IN AWE OF THIS TEA?Let me tell you- when I had a cup of this tea, halfway through the mug, I noticed I was experiencing a cut in pain of about half. By the time 15 minutes had gone by, I had been experiencing greatly reduced pain. It was so helpful that I found myself able to go into the garden, dig up some dirt, plant tomatoes, and even pull up old cages which would have been impossible earlier. This pain free feeling lasted for HOURS. I think it worked perfectly in tandem with the migraine tablet I took (OTC) and gave me an afternoon of bliss.THE BOTTOM LINEThis tea not only tastes good, but it really seems to help with stress and reduced pain for me on a very difficult day. I would buy this again and will have it in the house from now on.MY RATINGFIVE STARS! I am so happy to have this around. It really did take the edge off. God knows I could use that on days like I have had of late. Hopefully it will continue to help over time.

I have gluten sensitivity and alotnof teas seem to throw me off. I’ve been drinking this tea for about 3 months now and I am hooked. I even got my husband hooked on it. I have a cup a day sometimes two. I love how smooth it is and the ginger is not overpowering. I definitely feel the difference in my body. Thanks for making a brand I can safely consume on a daily.

Delicious!

Meh. The product isn’t really that good, the taste isn’t very minty or even very much like holy basil flavor and there are a lot of loose tea leaves coming out of the tea bags themselves. Not happy with my purchase.

I absolutely love these infusions! They are not tea, they are herbal, no caffeine. You have to make sure your water is boiling and you need to let these infuse a lot longer then regular tea to get the full benefit of the medicinal herbs and to really extract the wonderful full flavor. These are very high quality, all organic, no artificial anything. They taste exactly like what they say and the taste is excellent on all flavors, nothing weak about it if you let it infuse. This is by far the best quality infusions I’ve found. They are very calming and soothing herbs. I was surprised at the great value for the really great quality of these blends. I was very happy to try this and will definitely be buying more. I also love the Ashwagandha assortment. This is an excellent product, just be sure your water is Boiling hot and leave the bag in to fully infuse then enjoy!
